Week Three: Believe
2/17: Spoil Yourself! – Do something just for you today! Take a walk, go to yoga, spoil yourself! I spoil myself everyday by taking 45- 60 minutes for a workout. If I need to sweat it will be cardio on the elliptical, Spin class, or a run outside. The days I need to feel strong I do Pilates at Pilates ProWorks, Circuits, or Core Power Yoga Online with weights at home. Then there are the days I need a more mindful workout like yoga or a long walk with a great playlist.
2/18: 5 Mindful Minutes – Do good to your body, meditate for 5 minutes and find your zen. Every Tuesday I have a standing walk date with a friend. We are both pregnant and we bust out a few miles in the Presidio to get “away” from the city and enjoy a little bit of nature. On my way back home I walk down the Lyon Street Stairs. On Tuesday all the flowers were blooming and beautiful. I took a few minutes to appreciate them.
2/19: Be Happy – Show us your happy place! My happy place on Wednesday was at SoulCycle for a much needed cardio sweat session where I could zone out and enjoy the music and the energy. Have I mentioned I’m ADDICTED to SoulCycle? It’s been a bit of a lifesaver since I got pregnant. My first trimester was a little challenging and running proved to be very uncomfortable for my changing body. I’m a cardio queen so this is where SoulCycle stepped in. I’ve been on the bike 2-3 times a week since!
2/20: Thankful Thursday – Let us know what you are thankful for! I am very lucky to have an amazing fiance in my life. He is my everything. I am thankful for him everyday!
