Move Nourish Believe Challenge!

The definition of motivation is “the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way.” In the health and fitness field finding new ways to motivate clients and yourself becomes a daily task list. This month I joined Lorna Jane and Sweat Guru in the Move, Nourish, Believe Challenge to give myself a new focus everyday! This is my recap of the Challenge, Week ONE!

A brief background of the name of the challenge Lorna Jane’s Philosophy is to MOVE her body every day, NOURISH from the inside out, and BELIEVE in herself and that anything is possible if you work hard enough! Sweat Guru is part of FitApproach, an amazing company started by two very lovely and fabulous women, Alyse and Jamie. The Sweat Guru website is a great way to find new fitness classes and mix up your workouts! I became a Sweat Pink Ambassador and then joined the ranks of Sweat Guru because I believe in their vision and goals!

Here’s the breakdown on week one: Move!

2/3: Sweat-it-out! show us your favorite way to sweat! I’ve been teaching a Pilates ProWorks since the day they opened. It’s an AMAZING workout! Not only do a prescribe this workout, I do it too!

2/4: Change it up! – Sweat a new way! Select a workout from movenourishbelieve.com/category/move and show us your post-sweat session selfie. I did the “Don’t Skip it Workout” and got a fabulous workout right at home!

2/5: Let’s get planking! – Plank for at least five minutes today! You can split the planks up. My favorite way to plank? The plank song of course! Put on a song and plank till it’s done! Check out my short video HERE! 
2/6: Buddy up! – Workout with a friend today! My friend, and awesome Instructor opened her own studio, TaylorFit. I got best of both worlds: A workout with a friend who was also my Instructor! Plus I needed to mix things up and this was the perfect way to do it!

2/7: Fave Friday! – Show us your five fitness favorites! Exercises, people, whatever gets you moving and motivated! My Friday February Five Fitness Faves are my bkr water bottle, Sparkly Soul headbands, Nikeid sneakers, Jawbone UP,  and of course Pilates ProWorks fitformer classes!
